Therefore, you can afford to take a little longer for lunch without sacrificing your business. And at the end of the day, when the kids and/or spouse get home, you don’t feel like you wasted your day on chores. You also don’t feel drained like you normally are when commuting home after a long day of work. So being more calm, it is easier to put in an hour of chores at the end of the day and not feel like it is that extra in your day pushing you over the edge.
Personally, I have done more at home these past few months than ever before with a job in the way. But I am still productive in my office as I am growing my business and pushing that comfort level higher to bring my wife home as well. I see my kids at breakfast time, one thing that never happened before, except weekends. Working at home is well worth it and doesn’t demand the high cost of having a job. But to do so, you need to have the conviction of success by being self motivated. You know what you need to do to keep yourself at the level you were with a job.
